About I'mPACT
I'mPACT brings together different professionals to share their skills and knowledge to combine services in such a way that biological, kinship, foster or adoptive parents, their families, and their communities have a fighting chance to improve outcomes for the young people they love.
I'mPACT is a registered 501C3 nonprofit charitable organization that seeks to reduce the impact of childhood trauma through various child-serving programs it operates within Tioga County, Pennsylvania. The most prevalent cause of child abuse and neglect is parent substance use. Parent substance use has increased substantially over the past decade and has lead to an increase in the number of infants born dependent on and affected by drugs/alcohol, the number of child abuse and neglect cases, and the number of out-of-home placements into foster care.
